2025 European Championships Instanbul

For the first time, I experienced what it truly means to race for a podium finish.

During the bike leg, my gears suddenly broke, leaving me stuck in a single gear for the remainder of the race. Despite the setback, I managed to stay with the lead group and keep myself in contention.

Heading into the run, I was running for gold and gave everything I had. In the final 2 kilometers, the effort caught up with me and I faded hard, eventually crossing the line in 9th place.

Not the result I had hoped for — but a race that taught me exactly what it takes to compete at the front.
